Privacy Policy

1. Local-First Design

Inhale is designed as a local-first application. Your breathwork data — including sessions, techniques, streaks, mood ratings, CO2 tolerance scores, and settings — is stored entirely on your device. We do not operate user accounts, and your breathwork data is never uploaded to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This helps us understand how the App is used and fix issues. This data does not include your breathwork records, mood data, or personal health information. It may include device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage patterns.

2.2 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Inhale Premium, your purchase is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — we do not collect your name, email, or payment details. Your payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google.

If you redeem a promotional code (for example, a code from our code page), the App sends a single request to our server at getinhale.app (endpoints /api/v1/promo/validate and /api/v1/promo/redeem). This request contains only the promo code you entered, your anonymous RevenueCat app user ID, and your platform ("ios" or "android"). We use these to verify the code and grant the promotional entitlement through RevenueCat. This request does not include your name, email, payment details, or any of your breathwork, mood, or health data.

2.3 No Personal Information

Inhale does not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

2.4 Website Analytics

Our website, getinhale.app, uses Google Analytics to collect aggregate, non-identifying visit statistics — such as page views, referring sites, approximate location (country/region), and general device and browser type — so we can understand how visitors find and use the site. This website analytics is entirely separate from the App and does not have access to any of your breathwork, mood, or health data. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on.

3. Information Usage

The limited data we collect is used solely to:

• Improve app stability and fix crashes
• Understand general usage patterns to improve the App
• Manage subscription entitlements for Inhale Premium

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent any user information to third parties. Anonymous analytics data is shared only with our service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat) for the purposes described above. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your breathwork data is stored locally on your device using an SQLite database and is not transmitted to any server. If you uninstall the App, your local data will be deleted. We implement reasonable measures to protect the anonymous analytics data we do collect.

6. Legal Basis and Data Retention

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, our legal basis for processing the limited data described in this policy is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the App stable, diagnosing crashes, and understanding general usage so we can improve the App, and — for subscription and promotional processing — performing the agreement under which we provide Inhale Premium (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We retain the anonymous diagnostic and usage data collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for a maximum of 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated. Subscription and promo-redemption records are retained only for as long as needed to manage your entitlement and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Your breathwork, mood, and health data is stored only on your device and is retained entirely under your control until you delete it or uninstall the App.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — you have rights over your personal data. Because Inhale operates without accounts and stores your breathwork and health data only on your device, you can already exercise most of these rights directly: you fully control that on-device data and can view, edit, export, or delete it yourself at any time.

For the limited anonymous diagnostic and subscription data we do process, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction (rectification) of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Object to or restrict our processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate)

We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we never have. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@musthaveappscorp.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

8. Health Data

Inhale allows you to track health-related data such as mood before and after sessions, CO2 tolerance (BOLT) scores, breath hold times, and heart rate variability data. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

We treat all health-related data with the highest level of sensitivity. Your health data:

• Is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining purposes
• Is never sold to or shared with third parties
• Is never used to build user profiles for commercial purposes
• Remains entirely under your control on your device

If you export your data, the exported file is created on your device and shared only through the method you choose. We do not retain copies of exported data.

9. Notifications

Inhale may send local notifications to remind you about your breathing practice, streak status, and session milestones. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

10. Children's Privacy

Inhale is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
